Here at de Mowbray Court we believe you deserve better

After working all your life, don't you think you deserve a little something special.
Wouldn't it be nice to have someone else doing all the hard work for you whilst you are out and about enjoying the good life for a change.

Knowing there is always someone on site 24 hours a day, to call on if you need a little help is a good feeling.

With CCTV’s covering all the strategic points around the courtyard giving you the knowledge that you are in a secure place without all the high gates and iron bars.
You don’t have to travel far to find Shops, post office, chemist, library, taxi, GP surgery, bank, bus stop, social or day centres, pub within a ½ a mile, extremely good restaurant ¼ mile, Shopping centre ½ mile, train station ¾ mile, garden centre’s, Cinema, pub’s and restaurants they are all within a 5 minute sprightly or 20 minute leisurely walk.
There are so many activities within a short distance such as a Bowling Green, cricket, football, fishing etc.
Now that you have the time, why not learn how to fish in local rivers and ponds with your resident Complex Manager, or learn to do landscape painting at a day or night school and/or language courses, go in a Hot-Air Balloon or Helicopter the choice of things to do is endless, but it has to come from within you first.
There’s so much to keep you busy, you will wonder how you found time to go to work! 
There are large raised brick garden planters outside most apartment doors which (if you are able) can cultivate the flowers yourself to give you added interest in your surroundings.
We are certain that we have found the right environment for you, and the care we show towards each person is second to none.
2 meals a day are included, weekly apartment cleaning and laundering of bedding and towels.
Come and stay overnight free of charge (Meals included) let us show you what we are about, allowing you the chance to talk to other residents and get a totally unbiased opinion of what we at “de Mowbray Court” are all about.
Please remember, you have the front door key to your apartment that leads directly out into the courtyard and into the North Yorkshire countryside (Not into a corridor)

Extra-Care:

de Mowbray Court consists of  21 Apartments all with their own front doors, each resident has their own key, your front door leads out into the courtyard where all the flower beds and raised planters are situated, then directly into the North Yorkshire countryside.

Each apartment is individual in design and size, with single or double bedrooms and also 2 bedroomed apartments all with their own kitchen, lounge and en-suite bedrooms.

We care about our residents very much, and it's that extra-care that makes this a wonderful environment to live in.

Well-appointed private apartments fully carpeted, centrally heated, fully fitted kitchens, en-suite bedrooms.

Activities are available whenever you and/or your fellow residents decide you want them.

Caring staff are on hand 24 hours a day to assist you, "should you need their assistance"

Emergency pull cords are positioned in each of the rooms within your apartment, it's that re-assurance you need to know you are in safe hands.

24 hour CCTV camera's are in operation for that added peace of mind.. 

A 28 day rotating variation in the menu's as selected by the residents, meals are served in the dining room or if preferred in your apartment.

The Courtyard has open seated areas with tables and benches, plus a dining room for you to chat with friends and while away the hours in comfort, or watch TV if that's your preferrence.

The only item/s you pay for, are your telephone and TV licence, If you're 75yrs old or over, the TV licence is free, all other service bills and & maintenance charges, Building insurances are included in the rental, even down to your free daily pint of milk.

We are so confident that you will be happy at de Mowbray Court, (Whilst there are vacancies) were inviting enquirers over 50 yrs old to a weekend stay from Saturday thru to Sunday after dinner free of charge to see what we are all about.
